Hi, my name is Leon Lonergan and am trying to buy an epub e-book of ESKKAR and TRELLA “The Beginning”. Not in Smashwords – (only one of the series is there). I live in Australia and cannot buy from Amazon (don’t have a kindle anyway) nor from Nook who will not accept orders (purchase requests) from Australia.

Any idea where or when I can buy an epub copy? Its none availability in Australia cannot be helping sales of the series.

I would appreciate your advice, if indeed you have the knowledge. I have a KOBO and it’s not available on that web site either.

Hi Mr. Barone,

I was just wondering if there are any plans to release another full length novel set in the Eskkar universe? I really enjoyed the series, and although I can fully understand ending the series with the defeat of Elam, I'm still thirsty for more books.

Read Dawn of Empire, Empire Rising and Quest for Honour a couple years ago. I haven't yet found a series a have enjoyed more than these books. One of my favourite book series still to this day. Though it is hard to find the rest of the books here in NZ without ordering from overseas. Great job, Will have to go back and re-read :)

Last Book read, Clash of Empires. All are excellent, should be HBO series. Don't use the computer, this is my wife's email. Barnes and Noble does not carry your books, I have to have them order them for me.

Just finished re-reading Empire Rising, once again I couldn't put it down - good job I'm on vacation!

Like Ryan's comments below, after a quarter of a century in uniform (Royal Navy, Retired) I find your account of the action engaging and convincing. And I really identify when your characters feel free going out on patrol away from the main city/command - a universal feeling I guess!

just finished reading the first 10 minutes of Jettisoned. Very pleased to say that I did not want to stop reading- but it is very late and time for bed.
A well written story is always a nice way to wind down the evening. I look forward to picking up where I left off tomorrow night.
Hope you enjoy the holidays.

Hi Sam,

I'm a retired Marine and I've enjoyed the Eskar series immensely! I'm always on the lookout for good historical fiction. Running across your first book was a fortuitous accident on an otherwise unremarkable evening. The next five were a deliberate hunt on my kindle as I purchased eac successive story!

I especially enjoy the tactical details and personality quirks of your characters. I find myself nodding in approval at the training methods and sharing in Eskar et al hardships. Having spent a fair number of days of my life hungry, thirsty and uncomfortable; I find your characters vivid and relatable.

Thanks for the fantastic stories and the journeys you have taken me on!
